Who we are
Based in the vibrant community of Delta BC, the Muslim Consumer Council of Canada is an independent, non-affiliated organization registered under Canadian law. At MCC-CA, certification is carried out by a diverse team of experts who combine deep knowledge of Islamic dietary requirements with strong credentials in food science, safety systems, and regulatory compliance. Our experience spans global food safety frameworks such as HACCP and CFIA, ensuring every audit and inspection meets the highest industry benchmarks. Our team includes PhD-level experts in meat science, food science, medical and pharmaceutical fields, as well as specialists in Islamic affairs.
With extensive expertise as Halal Consumer Specialists, the council possesses comprehensive knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence related to Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, Cosmetic and Personal Care, offering services in audit, inspection, testing, and training.
